COVID-19: Temporary adjustments to DELTA Module Two

To enable access to DELTA Module Two courses for candidates during COVID-19 lockdowns, we have introduced a number of temporary changes:
candidates who started a DELTA Module Two course, which was interrupted due to COVID-19, can now complete their LSAs using an online form of delivery or remote assessment
approved DELTA Module Two centres can deliver training online
assessed teaching practice on DELTA Module Two can take place in an online teaching environment, or via remote assessment.
Courses and assessments delivered online or remotely need to meet technical requirements. These requirements and further guidance on running the DELTA Module Two in an online environment will be posted shortly on the support site. Please ensure that you have notifications turned on, so you are informed when the guidance is available. These changes are approved for courses starting up to 31 May 2021.
With the increased flexibility, we will be providing additional standardisation and training for selected Delta Module Two Assessors. Remote assessments and online assessments must only be conducted by DELTA Module Two Assessors who have completed this additional training. This training will initially be for a small group of assessors, in order for us to monitor the standards of assessment and refine the training before widening this to the whole of our current pool of assessors.
As a consequence of these adjustments we have taken the decision to postpone the Delta Module Two December session to allow more candidates to complete. The revised submission closing date is 20 January 2021. The results window will be 5th March 2021 – 19th March 2021.
