Citation: Demertzidou, I. (2018). Implementing Multiple Intelligences Theory in the Design of EFL Courses for Students with Learning Difficulties. Journal of Applied languages and Linguistics, 2(2), pp. 37-43.
The following paper explores the theory of multiple intelligences as proposed by the American psychologist Howard Gardner (1983) and examines the possibility of implementing the theory in the design of English language courses, with the aim of empowering and encouraging students with learning difficulties to participate in the educational process. Furthermore, practical applications of educational activities are presented, so as to provide concrete examples of how the theory can be implemented for inclusive practices.
